Salsa with a Kick

Salsa with a Kick | The Crave Gallery

SALSA! I love salsa! I also love spicy food, so when you put salsa and spicy together, I’m a very happy girl. I would rather eat homemade salsa than go buy some from store. Plus, wouldn’t you rather use fresh ingredients? I promise (I make a lot of promises – but I keep them all!) this recipe is simple! This salsa has taken me a few years to perfect. A lot of my friends have had to deal with super sour lime salsa or over the top spicy can’t even taste the flavor salsa. Sorry guys!

I grew up in Northern Virginia before I moved down to the sunny state, and football Sundays are pretty huge up there (Go Skins!) This is probably the healthiest app you’ll find on the food table amidst all the buffalo chicken dips, pizza, and wings. Especially if you’re drinking beer and yelling at the TV, you don’t want your stomach to feel too heavy! Plus, if the salsa’s all gone, its super quick to make more (commercial break!) You could use a food processor for this if you want, I prefer my blender.

So ladies and gentleman, I present my perfected recipe of chip-hugging deliciousness.
